The Fifth One

So this isn’t really a timed essay because I don’t actually have the time to sit for 30 minutes today.

I’ve been having some ideas lately about writing. I’d like to move away from the dull essay prompts for a few posts and work on stuff that I’m interested in. There have been some things that have come up lately that I thought would be cool to write about, but with my designated writing time going to timed essays, these topic will never get done. The other thing is that I think that some of these topics deserve more than 30 minutes of my attention. So what I’ve decided to do is break topics up into 30 minute sections. I haven’t exactly figured out how to do that yet, but I’m sure it will come to me.

I’m excited about the idea of being excited about writing again. So hopefully being able to regroup and work on stuff that is interesting to me will put me in a better spot to come back and nail these lousy essay prompts. The first topic will be wealth, I think, and I will start tomorrow.
